ABOUT

The perpetual pursuit to express creativity through fashion, the overwhelming interest in fashion styling and the earnestness to be a catalyst in inspiring others to live in style, every day, paved the birth of SIGH STYLES.

Brief History of Sigh Styles

Having successfully defined her personal fashion mantra and mastered her self-proclaimed style advocacy, her next absolute aim is to share her montane passion for fashion styling to other individuals:
(1) those with the same level of interest to the creative arts and the upkeeping of personal style, and
(2) for those individuals who need minimal or thorough upswing, fashion-wise.

Wearing an assertive attitude, she propelled herself beyond limits and personally marketed her self-trained fashion styling skills, initially to neophytes of the creative arts, e.g. photographers, HMUAs.

Then she ventured into fashion styling on 2012... established a one-woman team: being at all times the head fashion stylist, and at several arrangements becomes the photographer, the creative director, the model and an HMUA. She labeled this micro entrepreneurial endeavor as SIGH STYLES

And on the same year, she also started a new blog, and named it also as SIGH STYLES.
(1) Her fashion styling stints and adventures is the heart of this blog.
(2) She also warmly promotes about the products, the businesses and the people that she have veritable confidence in, fashion or personal care related.
(3) Her altruism to imparting her personal style and fashion styling ideas to the equally fashion-savvy and the less in vogue individuals is another element of this blog.
(4) The last, but not the least, loved topic that is being shared in this blog is about the memories she have collected from the divergent, fascinating places she have explored.

A Dozen Unfiltered Reasons Why Bangkok,Thailand Is Always My Place To Be

People nowadays have abundant, diverse resources that traveling outside one's home country has been a typical option for holidays or even for a long-weekend vacation.  And if you are from the Philippines, the accessible places and, by fact, the more affordable options would be those destinations nearby such as Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.

Yes, Thailand! My second favorite country, of course, next to the Philippines.  The country has a massive land area. But with the four times that I have been there, most of my adventures were spent only in Bangkok. In spite of it, I know that there are still numerous places to explore in the city of Big Mango.
I have overflowing stories to share about my trips to Bangkok, with brimming enthusiasm.  I have had several detailed blog posts about my trips since 2011, 2013 and 2014.  Although this post and the pictures you will be seeing are #throwback shots, I hope to still provide you with an overview of what the city has to offer and be able to…

How To Be Comfy Yet Chic to a Winter Vacation in Hong Kong

I always desire to have a winter vacation in Hong Kong.  Though, I actually have experienced it last 2013 with my family, see HERE,  but such desire never ceases and is always haunting me. Whenever December arrives, the hopes reach its acme. Thankfully,  January of this year, my wishful thinking and flaming desires turned to reality, again!

Why have a Vacation on Winter time?
Despite I easily get cold feet and hands when temperature drops, I am so in love with winter time as it provides an entirely fresh sense of being assuredly away from home, which screams, you're on vacation! And, the fact that winter does not visit the Philippines makes the season more exciting.  More so, dressing-up for a winter season is such a fun and stimulating activity.  Even the thought of wearing my boots certainly thrills me.

Blending In With My Personal Style + Style Tips!

Transferring to a new location have initially distressed me. Everything was unaccustomed and I was back to zero, career-wise. Then, I was also in direly wanting to activate my Fashion Styling skills. The artist in me had a compelling fighting spirit. Why be afraid, why hide, why remain dormant? So, I went online and befriended creative minds alike.  And guess what? Last quarter of this year, I have successfully made my very first fashion styling collaboration with amazing Filipino talents in the field of photography here in Doha, Qatar and finally got acquainted with my online-turn-real-life friends: Eds Dela Cruz and Christine Lyn Espinosa.

Part of resettling is the embracing of foreign culture and adapting to their lifestyle which includes dressing up according to their norms.  If you have been following this blog, you might have known by now that my personal style has permanently gravitated to a direction that always had a touch of modesty. I prefer covering my extremities, wearing …
