Hong Kong 2014

Went to Hong Kong last month for a business trip and captured the region with a 10-megapixel digital camera, with apologies for some of the grainy photos.

This is my third time to step on the soils of Hong Kong, but my first time to explore the place thru the MTR.
from Yau Ma  Tei station (red)  in Kowloon to Tung Chung (yellow) as we were heading for AsiaWorld-Expo in Lantau island
Also hopped on to this double-decker buses from the airport to Nathan Road Kowloon via A-21 City Flyer and vice versa.
Tourists and locals shopping at the Ladies Night Market in Mongkok, Kowloon.

A view of Kowloon from our room on the 17th floor of City View Hotel located along Waterloo Road.

This white patent leather flats with embellishment was bought at Ladies Night Market at a price of 120 HKD during this trip and was worn on the first day of the exhibition that we attended at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Strolling at the Avenue of the Stars while we wait for the Symphony of Lights show.

Souvenir items sold at the Ladies Night Market.  Bought a Hong Kong bell as requested by my sister (it's her collection)

The famous and lively Nathan Road.

Every time I travel, I always see to it that I get to buy a pair of shoes.  What attracted me most are these platform shoes and sandals. And so I did bought one platform sandal, as posted HERE.

A Dozen Unfiltered Reasons Why Bangkok,Thailand Is Always My Place To Be

People nowadays have abundant, diverse resources that traveling outside one's home country has been a typical option for holidays or even for a long-weekend vacation.  And if you are from the Philippines, the accessible places and, by fact, the more affordable options would be those destinations nearby such as Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.

Yes, Thailand! My second favorite country, of course, next to the Philippines.  The country has a massive land area. But with the four times that I have been there, most of my adventures were spent only in Bangkok. In spite of it, I know that there are still numerous places to explore in the city of Big Mango.
I have overflowing stories to share about my trips to Bangkok, with brimming enthusiasm.  I have had several detailed blog posts about my trips since 2011, 2013 and 2014.  Although this post and the pictures you will be seeing are #throwback shots, I hope to still provide you with an overview of what the city has to offer and be able to…

How To Be Comfy Yet Chic to a Winter Vacation in Hong Kong

I always desire to have a winter vacation in Hong Kong.  Though, I actually have experienced it last 2013 with my family, see HERE,  but such desire never ceases and is always haunting me. Whenever December arrives, the hopes reach its acme. Thankfully,  January of this year, my wishful thinking and flaming desires turned to reality, again!

Why have a Vacation on Winter time?
Despite I easily get cold feet and hands when temperature drops, I am so in love with winter time as it provides an entirely fresh sense of being assuredly away from home, which screams, you're on vacation! And, the fact that winter does not visit the Philippines makes the season more exciting.  More so, dressing-up for a winter season is such a fun and stimulating activity.  Even the thought of wearing my boots certainly thrills me.

Blending In With My Personal Style + Style Tips!

Transferring to a new location have initially distressed me. Everything was unaccustomed and I was back to zero, career-wise. Then, I was also in direly wanting to activate my Fashion Styling skills. The artist in me had a compelling fighting spirit. Why be afraid, why hide, why remain dormant? So, I went online and befriended creative minds alike.  And guess what? Last quarter of this year, I have successfully made my very first fashion styling collaboration with amazing Filipino talents in the field of photography here in Doha, Qatar and finally got acquainted with my online-turn-real-life friends: Eds Dela Cruz and Christine Lyn Espinosa.

Part of resettling is the embracing of foreign culture and adapting to their lifestyle which includes dressing up according to their norms.  If you have been following this blog, you might have known by now that my personal style has permanently gravitated to a direction that always had a touch of modesty. I prefer covering my extremities, wearing …
